Acoustic Skippy

Hi!

Whilst the website hasn't been updated for a while, we'd like to reassure you that Damn Skippy hasn't disappeared!  Three fifths of the band have been putting together a slightly different kind of set as an acoustic trio (guitar, vocals and horns).

We've been out testing new stuff at a few open mics, and hopefully we might even get around to playing some more proper gigs before too long..

High-tech wizardry

Love ska but can't be in south east London this Friday night because you work in an Antarctic research station?  Fear not my friend!  The gig this Friday at the New Cross Inn will be 'live streamed' to Youtube via digital magic.  Just follow this link on the night.  Damn Skippy are on at 8.45ish..

See you Friday if you're coming down!

Gaz's

It was Damn Windy this week and a tree fell down into Sam the Drummer's garden, causing all kinds of problems and meaning he wasn't able to make the gig.  Disaster seemed imminent but was narrowly averted at the last minute as our mate Eny stepped in with just twenty four hours notice.  Despite only hearing the songs for the first time the day before he played a blinder and we had a great night!

Thanks to you if you were there and had a dance - we really enjoyed it - and a massive mega Skippy thanks to Eny for stepping into the breach and doing such an awesome job! Cheers dude!

Gigs

We have a couple of gigs coming up in November - we're excited to be playing the legendary Gaz's Rockin' Blues and one of our favourite venues, the New Cross Inn.

Come along - we look and sound a little like this I suppose!

Thanks!

Thanks so much to all who came along to see us last night - was an awesome atmosphere and so much fun! Definitely won't be another eight year wait for the next one...

Return to the stage

After a (brief) hiatus of 2,848 days Damn Skippy make a shambolic return to the stage this Friday night at the Cavendish Arms in Stockwell.  It's a lovely venue, the gig is free and there are two other bands so it should be fun.
